Can you replace just the front lip on a MK4?

Hey boys & girls,

Need to sell my MK3, & am looking at replacing it with a MK4, going to look at one this week that doesn't have the black front lip from the bumper.

Question is...can the lip be replaced on it's own (like on a MK3) or is a full bumper replacement required? Need to factor into the negotiations.

what is a lip worth? or what is a bumper worth (from wreckers) if anyone has been down the same path.

Yes you can just replace the valance. As long as the tab holes havent been torn

My car originally came without one from the previous owner and I purchased one off eBay
I then got it painted with the stock rear valance aswel

I have a JOM Airblade as well which will be for sale next month, same as the lip on this one below




just waiting for my North American bumper to arrive next month so i can attach my U.S 20th Anni Valance to it (not euro 25th anni).
