Can the rear be aligned ?

Can a rear wheel alignment be done on the Golf ?

I just got my car back from the tyre shop and the invoice says 'REAR IS NOT ADJUSTABLE', so they charged only for a front alignment.
The rear tyres are wearing on the inside and I want this fixed !

The rear end is a fixed beam. The location cannot be moved to my knowledge. Thats my people get camber/castor correction kits.

the rears on the 4Mo have a bit of play in them, but most opt for camber shims or the adjustable rear control arms.

This is for my GTI. It has a fixed beam. So the Bora 4mo and R32 will be totally different.

Changing the rear alignment doesn't change the laws of physics.

A 3.2L cast iron block engine ahead of front axle with a largely FWD drivetrain driven too fast into a corner for available mechanical grip to hold it = understeer. End of story.

Your BMW will understeer like a pig too if you go into a corner too hot and off the power. You only get power-on adjustability in corners in your BMW because your rear wheels are driven rather than the fronts.
    Nothing to see here...

After i had the rears adjusted, took it on a short track and half of the unersteer was gone. I was on the same track a month before that and the understeer was crazy! Alignment was done by Wheels World in perth, they look after porches, ferraris and those kinda cars, they know what they are doing
