bulb's gone in the driver's door red/footwell light

It's not really a 'footwell' light like in the new mk6, i mean the light on the driver and passenger's door which comes on when you open the door... (has a red cover)

does anyone know how to open this cover/light ? and i'm hoping the globe will have model part on it, but does anyone know off the top of their head ?

    cheers

Get an old credit card and just pry it off. Can't remember the globe type, but its pretty simple. Just take the globe into autobarn, youll be out in 2 minutes.

I use a small screw driver when changing my globes for that position..

As Leighaus said, just carefully pry them off, i think i did mine from either the left or right side.. isn't too hard, but be careful not to crack or snap anything..

when you get it off the specs should be stamped on the metal part of the globe, simply get the same type - take the old one into Autobarn etc
