mk4 halo projector headlights problem

hey guys! i bought a pair of headlights from a guy in adelaide who bought them off ebay but he never put them on the car. here's the link -> 2 SETS HID 99-05 VW GOLF MK4 HALO PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS | eBay
So the problem is that my drivers side lower beam seems to just be shining really low in front of the car and it seems to look from a distance like its out when looking from front on. Wondering if these are LHD or RHD headlights? no details on receipt that the guy gave me from ebay so I'm stumped on what it is! it doesn't have any manual or electric adjusting at all ANY IDEAS??!!

ive got a similar set and mine shine a lot further on the left hand side than on the right, i thought it was a little weird at first but i could adjust mine. have a look on the back of the headlight and there might not be adjusters likeyour used to but there should be a little toothed wheel. the adjusters are sometimes a seperate part (as with mine). I just used a flatblade screwdriver to gradually lever the light a little higher. if your struggling to find it see if you can take a decent picture from above the light showing the back of the unit and ill see if i can help from there.
