    Brakes squeaking-what can be done?

Hey guys well ive got a 2.0l sport and about 7,000 km ago i put in new brakes and new disk. The car has about 117,000 on it atm. Everything about the car is perfect however lately the brakes squeak so much its annoying. I bought the bendex ones when i was changing them..is this the problem? Can something be done to the pads/disk to sotp the squeaking or cut it down. Or do i need to get new pads all together.

They squeak a lot when i drive the car for the first time in the day, and when the cars been idle for a while.. but when driving theres only minor queaks sometimes non .

    Any suggestions?

ive got brembo 6 potters on my other car, and they squeal like a pig - i'm happy coz I know its par for course for outstanding brakes (and I don't care if the ignorants out there dont understand this)

Brake squeal is caused by the pads vibrating,if you apply a little copper grease to the rear of the pad when fitting it usually isolates any chance of squeal.

I have brembo 4pots and not a hint of squeal so its not par for the course.
