I found it was cheaper to get brake parts in from the US than it was to source them locally. Check out ECS Tuning - they have brake pad/rotors selections to suit the Bora V6 4Motion even though they don't explicitely list it (since they didn't get it in the US).

What you want to look for is parts to suit the Audi TT Mk1 Quattro 225HP:

Audi TT MKI Quattro 225HP > Braking > OEM

The parts there will suit the Bora V6 4Motion.
    Nothing to see here...

I got my replacement gear from German Auto Parts when I was due for replacement. Two front rotors shipped over here and then slotted locally was about the same price as the price of one rotor from VW Australia. Also have a look at ECS, Parts4VW and maybe TMTuning as well.
How come you need to replace rotors when you pads?

Problem is they never got the 4motion bora/jetta which has the 312mm brakes. It is the same brakes as an mk1 Audi TTQ tho which is what manaz was pointing to.

Dont forget to check out GAP as they are pretty reasonable too.

80% of Jetta parts are right, just that they never got the 4mo model, its only FWD over there.. Think of it like a grown up Mk3 VR6, hence they only had 288mm rotors IIRC

the rotors all have a bit of a lip on them and its to much to b machined and i dunno if if its true or not but a bloke from abs and my mechanic both said that some euro cars like audi, mercedes and vw have softer pads and rotors and this is y they brake better and also release alot of a brake dust which is what i was getting and not so much now the brakes r getting low. this softer compound makes both pads and rotors life span much shorter but supposbaly its much better brakeing. ne1 else think this might b a bit of a yarn?
