Question Bora v5 (170bhp) Oxygen / Lambda Sensor Part Numnbers

    Hey All,

long time no see! I still have the Bora, but she is getting a little long in the tooth and requires post and pre cat O2 Sensors. VW don't seem that keen on handing out part numbers these days so finding the exact OEM part numbers has been a little tough.

Does anyone know what the OEM numbers are for both O2 sensors?

I have found some Bosch Part Numbers, but I'd really like to be able to cross reference these with an OEM part number. Bosch numbers I got from here; Lambda Sensor for your VOLKSWAGEN BORA (1J2) 2.3 V5 (170Hp)

    I'm looking at "0 258 006 982" and "0 258 007 361".

Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

    Thanks Mate,

    That seems to add up

Now to try and find someone who will ship to AU - ECS have the front sensor but it's still quite exxy. Solitaire want $682 for both...think I can do a bit better than that!

Is there anywhere that lists if a part has been superseded?

It would appear that 022 906 262P has been superseded by 1K0 998 262 M. All the free ETKA systems must be fairly old as they dont show this, but a few part websites list it as being superseded.

I cant find much information 022 906 262 S - not even listed on ECS
