Bora tail light variations

Hey guys just another question to add to all my other questions i ask you guys on here haha.

I was forced to purchase a whole new tail lamp last week due to someone mysteriously backing into the bora while it was sitting on the side of the road.. Not happy..
I decided to order the part through supercheap auto as they could get it to me the fastest, so i gave them all the info of my make and model and so on.. A few days later i get the part.. The bottom lense of the tail lamp is white. I was furious as the tail lamp existing on the other side is red all over. I took it back and supercheap couldnt work it out and said that that one was the only one on their spare parts list for that model.

so anyway my question is why did this happen? What are the differences between the white lense at the bottom and the red lense? are they actually for different models? I need an answer!

in aus generally the big white lower section (r/r/r/c) is for the pov pack models (2lt)
the rest of the range (v5) and (v6) in aus had either all red or mostly red with a tiny square of white.

There was a number of other combos out there world wide.
