    Bora tail light globes?

    Hi all,
I'm sure i have read it before but now i cant find it...
I need to replace one of my rear brake lights, but have also noticed my tail lights are different strengths in brightness. (so thought i might check i am using the right ones)
Wondering if any one could post what globes the car actually came with throughout the rear lights (brake, indicators, tailights, reverse, fog)?
and also while im at it, possible to run brighter globes (fogs?), and any suggestions?

    Cheers
    Dylan

    According to the Bentley Manual:

Brake Light bulbs are 12V, 21W
Turn Signal bulbs are 12V, 21W
Tail Light Bulbs are 12V, 5W
Reverse Light Bulbs are 12V, 5W

Better yet though: VOLKSWAGEN (VW) BORA*(98 to 06) Upgrade xenon car bulbs from Power Bulbs

Car Bulbs, Headlight Bulbs, Xenon Bulbs from Philips and Osram, Philips Xtreme Power, Osram NightBreaker globes - Powerbulbs.

seems like the reverse, taillight, indicator, fog and possibly the brake light are all
P21W Philips Vision Plus P21W from Power Bulbs | Free Worldwide Delivery

    anyone confirm?

edit: ok tail light is different as manaz said. though the reverse light according to powerbulbs is still the brighter one... which disagrees with what is apparently in the bentley manual...

and why do you want a brighter reverse fog light? you don't want to blind people behind you

    Thanks very much guys!
well i dont know if my current fogs are right, but they seem pretty average compared to other cars.
We get some crazy fog in patches on some high speed stretchs of road so id like them to be brighter. other then that i dont use them really.
(also they are good to scare the **** out of people tail gating you without using your brakes hehe)

the tail light would be 5w wouldnt it... its not as bright as the brake light, but then again, the reverse globes are normally pretty bright but they are only 5w?

Might pull it out tonight and see if its listed on the globe housing.

Well, according to my tail lights i require:
    Brake 12V 21W
    Turn 12V 21W
    Tail 12V 5W
    Reverse 12V 21W
    Fog 12V 21W

So bentley manual wrong? or was there a change to the tail lights as the models evolved?

Picked up a pair of Phillips Vision Plus P21W for $4.99

Got my bulbs from PowerBulbs (very quick and great packing) but the DIY on vortex isn't working. Is the change of the taillights easy?

Yep really easy, Open up your boot open the flap on either side. Push back on plastic clips that hold the plastic center bracket out. gently pull the bracket out may need to go up or down first then replace bulbs. Be careful not to hit the lights on the carpet tho broke a few of mine.
