    Bora Suspension

    Hi all

Was just wondering, if anyone has used these or something like these in their Golf's Boras etc

    RSD coilover kits, VW models

Was thinking about purchasing these for the 4motion Bora I have and was wondering if they'd be ok?
Mine are becoming a tad worn and I'd like to change them with something better, tad stiffer, adjustable...

    Thoughts, suggestion welcome

    Adam.

they look a lot like my coilovers. Just different brand.
i'd imagine it would be a lower end coilover, but the cheaper ones can be ok. sure they are not going to ride like your OEM suspension or like KW V3s, bit of 'you get what you pay for' generally when it comes to suspension i think...

    G'day Adam.

You definitely do get what you pay for.

PM sent regarding KW and Weitec suspension options.. If you are interested.

I'm also happy to publicise it if anyone else wants some info.

I would be quite keen to see any details about options as I was looking at the FK KonigSport range as well, 4motions take R32 suspension right?

Although the R32 suspension would fit the 4motion I don't think the spring and dampening rates would be optimised for the different weight distribution of the sedan.

Correct. BTW your KW suspension just turned up.

After I write this i'll take it to the freight depot mate.

KW suspension systems are some of the best in the world (A quick internet search will confirm that). One of the advantages of KW over many of their competitors is their twin tube dampers. This means that they have separate high and low speed bump and rebound (compression and extension) control. The short of this means that you have a damper that rides nice, but is firm and well controlled in a corner with minimal compromise.

Weitec Hicon GTs are an exceptional bang-for-buck suspension kit. They are the same as a KW V1 coil, with the difference being that they have a zinc coated steel body instead of the Inox stainless steel body of the V1.

I can do you the Weitec Hicon GT coils for $1439.00 delivered, while the KW V1 Inox is $1789.00 delivered.

If you want to go up from there I can do:

    KW V2 Inox: $2219.00
    KW V3 Inox: $2719.00

These are current prices for the 4motion Bora.

All Weitec suspension kits sold thru an official Australian dealer like myself come with 2yr/40,000km warranty, KW kits come with 2yr/unlimited km warranty.

I am running KW V1s in my Caddy Van (Have been since '08 ), while I have a set of Weitec Hicon GTs to go in my Mk1 Golf GLD this weekend. I will be running KW V3s in my Mk1 16v. I only sell products I would use myself and I had been running the KWs in the van long before I decided to deal in them.

If you are interested, send me an email or PM.

    Cheers guys.
