Bora - is this a 'Sport'

    Hi guys,

Looking at getting a Bora, saw this one advertised as a "Sport":
    http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars..._id=85&trecs=2

From my understanding the Sport is meant to have a different front grill (doesn't have those horizontal lines).

So is this one a Sport or not?

    Cheers

    Jon

Baaah Boooowwww . Not a Sport!!! Either the seller has been duped since new or he is trying to inflate the value...

However, use that to your advantage and offer a lower price, I had the same thing happen with my Bora, it was advertised as a sport, but when I confronted the dealer he had no argument and I neg'ed a lower price.

If you do decide to buy it, just watch out for the boys in blue and their radar guns there in SA, you will not believe how quick these sleepers are!

    Cheers,
    _Dave

This Bora looks great, and has low mileage.
But at 120000 kilometers these cars have just been run in.

I found my Bora with ultra low kms

so imagine how I felt when i saw a 2003 Bora V6 with only 37000km on the clock, all original 1 owner with log books, sitting in the dealers lot..... I just had to buy it, and I did this in August last year.

haha, i can post a reply to this one!!

i looked at buying a Bora a while back.

as far as i know the sport came with a different grille, a rear spoiler, and has a 'Sport' badge on the rear.

If yr looking for one with a few mods on it then take a look at sikbora's, here in Perth

Im not sure how the sport and non sport model works in Australia.

But over here in NZ and in South Africa, the only real thing that defined the standard to sports model was the Cruise Control and Leather heated Seats. regardless of what horrible colour the interior was.

Plus both those Bora's do have the Bora Sports Gauge Clusters in them.
same as the 20th Edition Anniversary Golf GTI.
