mechanically, it's a little early to tell, the previous owner didn't really look after it. it will need interior bits, like blank accessory switch plates, front drink tray, rear ashtray etc, rear chrome bumper trim so far. plenty of other bits i'm sure.
can you tell me how you cleaned up your headlights, as these are very foggy and yellowing

Eric, check VW vortex for heaps of how to threads. Essentially you progressively use finer and finer wet paper to rub back the lights and polish. Start at about 800 grit and go progressively finer to about 1600 to 2000 then polish
pm sent , as stan said its just basicly a polishing operation , there is also the glass replacements that can be bought online .... over ebay even i think

yeah its just a simple lens swap , relatively easy job with a heatgun ..but can get messy with the silicone

The glass of the lens is siliconed on with something like black mastic, very tacky. You need to heat the edges with something like a heat gun to soften it to get the lens off. Take care or you will crack the lens if you need to reuse it. If replacing it you reheat to soften the original silicone and seat the lens. Have some turps handy for clean up
