    All V5s are twin cam . Only difference you can see was early had coilpack and leads while later had individual coilpacks .

    All 2.0l 4 cylinders are the same .

    110kw v5 also had extractors while the 125kw had cast iron manifolds .

    Main difference regards to the power was the extra 2V per cylinder and also much larger ports both intake and exhaust on the later 24V V5

    Thanks for that Manaz! I more wanted the info so I know what I am looking at while shopping for engines.

    Given I have the coil packs and twin cam and the AQN code, I will assume it is the late style.

    I have been getting prices for a new engine, and I was told (from the VIN) it has a new style and an old style by different 'experts". Neither could tell me the difference!

    Yep the AQN is the 125kw V5, same as mine. Also you should see the V5 badges have a red 5, the 110kw car had all silver badges.

    There is a guy on ebay who has a few brand new Bora V5 Engines for sale.

    Mine has both extractors and individual coil packs?
    The extractors look OEM too.

    I did it last weekend with a trailer to get the car. I will get it freighted down.
