Bora AUE VR6 O2 Sensors

Hi

I need to replace both Precat O2 sensors, look like the left & right are different part numbers

022906262j (0258007075) & 022906262H (0258007351)

is the difference the connector? when I look on line & the Bosch Australia site all seem to say use 0258007351 for both.
if this is the case should I be buying a universal 02 and splice the 0258007075 connector.

any thoughts on Bosch universal 02 sensors ??

Connectors are the same, (colour may vary, LH brown? RH black? otherwise identical). RH has longer wires hence it's a different part no.
I would say Bosch have simplified it and add extra length to the LHS sensor so they can sell / make the same part fit both sides.

I've used a Bosch 02 universal sensor on a Falcon XR6, worked fine. Don't Bosch make the sensors for VW anyways?? Should be fine.

I installed 2 x 022906262H (0258007351) and a new mfa which work a treat no more backfires on start up. economy has also improved dramatically.

just have to try get the handling fixed as she handles like a whale
