Well its an advantage really, it means we can have a larger bodied muffler. Keep volume down, and get a nice deep note

What I like most about the R32 muffler Idea is the ability to change the volume with the flapper
Id still have to get them to throw in a mid muffler to replace the one that would be removed with the standard box.
Wounder if I could get the pops and burbles with a R32 muffler..

Decided on the R32 muffler, sourcing one now
Happy with that, will meet noise levels, designed not to be droney or annoyingly loud..
And I can change the volume with the flick of a lever

Id love it if there were some more videos of boras with this setup (recorded with a decent camera)
Just worried it will be raspy (im getting the center rezy/muffler as-well) but worst case I have them throw another rezy.

A resonator reduces rasp and drone by cutting out certain frequencies.. I think its just a muffler designed to clean up the exhaust note.
If you look up R32's with resonators removed, they are less burbely and more raspy (which I hate really, any Honda can make rasp with a cannon. Its hardly classy)

Be interested in any updates to this thread - my 4Mo has had no exhaust work for 11yrs and time to consider :

    1. hi flo cat - 100-200 cell range

    2. replace existing mainfold with ss extractors into 2.25 to 2.5in pipe

    3. custom cat back piping or 'off the shelf- doesn't seem to be many manufacturers - eisenmann / miltek / supersprint?

    4. resonator / muffler to OEM spec or better - I would like to keep existing ground clearances and the transverse arrangement /dual stock tailpipes for originality - any pic of the R32 setup with flapper mod ?

All suggestions welcome - love to achieve the true burble of the V6 but no raspiness.
