    Bora 4motion V6 Exhaust

Ok I want some advice here..
I just purchased my Bora, and I absolutely love it! But its a tad too quiet for my liking.
Im looking at my alternatives for exhaust systems.

Ideally Id love a pre-made system. But being the sleeper they are, not many people make systems for our cars.

The next best thing would be a custom system, but I was burn 'not literally' a few times with my old car.. Was ripped off, and was not happy after lots of wasted money.
If I will be a custom system I dont want them touching my standard piping at all. It would all be stainless, mandrel and Tig welded. Id love to get a quiet, deep and burbely exhaust..

I was thinking having a R32 muffler fitted, but there somewhat hard to come by. I really dont want too much volume, just a nice note.
(which is why I thought the R32 muffler would be ideal)

Does anybody have a photo of the standard system, or where is the closest flange/join to the back?

    Thanks all!
    -Jaydn

Yea I have read it all, and his is an example of the dodge I dont want (reason for avoiding custom)
If I went down the R32 muffler approach, Id have them bring the other pipe around and meed up to a twin tip on the LHS

I have researched this very thing:

I talked to a custom exhaust shop and they quoted about 1200 for a completely custom cat back system or

Peak Performance (Sydney) quoted about 1400 (need to check) for a non resonated SuperSprint cat back system in stainless steel. This is fully imported and designed specially for the 4mo

so whats the diff between resonated and non-resonated?

non-res seems to strike me as something that might smooth out the already-lump bawble?

Fantastic, always great to have another head do separate research!
1200 with which muffler? Was that stainless, tig and mandrel bent?

As mentioned above, I would much prefer a pre-fabricated system, but it has to sound good
For the same money, I can get a milltek system.. and IMO the super-sprint dont sound all that good. (relative to the R32 muffler or the milltek)
But I believe that may not fit the 4motions

With regards to the the custom - yes it was stainless, mandrel, "donut tubing" and about 6-8 hrs labour. That was an estimate price.

I Beleive Milltek have ceased production of the Bora 4mo system and Supersprint are the last of a few made for it.

Non resonated = LOUD and potential for more drone in cabin.

the last video shouldn't count as its a straight thru rear box, and the underfloor / chassis on our 4mo doesnt allow that sort of box, we have to fit it transverse a-la R32...just nit picking
