Question Bora 4Motion Engine Number location?

    Hi Guy's,

I did a search but couldn't find the answer so thought I'd whack up a thread to ask where to find the engine number on a 2001 4Motion??

I'm selling the car and am embarrassed to say I can't find the bloody thing and the new owner needs it for his financier!

    Any help would be great.

Thanks Luke but I'm after where it is stamped on the engine itself. On a side note, do you know how to identify which is the engine number on the plate in the boot? It just looks like a jumbled mess to me.

    Hey champ,

Not sure how it is over your end of town, but your VIN and engine # should be on your rego papers.

Engine numbers on most cars are stamped up the top near where the timing belt/chain cover is ?

You have to get underneath the car and look up through the engine bay to see it

    Engine number should be AUEBLABLAH

    Good luck !
