yeah from what I have read, yellow is more track orientated but can be used for everyday driving, requires one or two stops to get them warm. One of the Audi guys was telling me about it. He says they are good.

Yeah reading about them and the GTI conversion I would lean towards the yellow stuffs now. I'm still worried about the brake dust issue though. As it is though, the amount I get on the R32 wheels now is horrendous and they are an absolute nightmare to clean. Something that produces much less dust would be very useful. Lots of food for thought until the time comes to replace the pads.

They're some fantastic offers there guys. I'll definitely have to take you up on those offers. I might take the V6 out as well and sell that too and put a 1.6L engine in as well. That way I can cut down the fuel economy as well.
I see the light all of a sudden.

    Heh funny stuff.
    Back on topic hey.
So has anyone had any experience with the yellow stuffs? It doesn't fill me with confidence that EBC give them a dust rating of high as opposed to low for redstuffs.
Also dust wise, how are they comparing to normal VW pads?

I don't know about you but the stock VW are the second dustiest pads I have ever had. I think anything will be better than them.

Yeah realistically I should be cleaning the wheels weekly instead of fortnightly as it only takes a week for the rims to be absolutely disgusting. If I can be bothered I'll take a photo of my fronts with less than 200km driving.

At least now with the shell just sitting in the garage I'll save a fortune in running and maintenance costs. I'll be able to afford all those suspension modifications for my wheel-less car. I'll also be able to easily pay for that APR chip, CAI and engine mounts for the engine I don't have.
Anyone want an R32 interior so I can do a forced induction modification too?

If dust is a real concern then you should be fine with Redstuff.. I mean they made a considerable difference to my car (and I drive reasonably hard.. like I said before, I melted my original pads and they started to disintigrate)

There is a massive difference with the dust too, like 2 weeks not washing my car (driven daily - hard on weekends) hasn't shown as much dust as just a weekend on the old pads

I'd be interested to know about experiences with yellowstuff too though
