Hey everybody.
My names Trent, im fairly new to the forum but some of you may have seen me lerking about in the mk3 section.
but for now lets talk mk4.. This is my dads bora 4motion sport and i have been driving it while hes away for work.. I used to be into the mk3's but after driving the bora iv come to a realisation haha.
for the next few weeks ill be fixing a few things including the master window switch, rear door lock mechanism, and the boot latch.. All which i have just ordered online.

Also a quick question for anyone that might know my problem..
just recently the car has starting squeaking only when i turn the wheel just about all the way to the left or right.
Could this be the power steering or something else like that? If so how can i get the squeak to go away

It may be the power steering, they make noise when low on fluid at full lock.
You can check, look the the green top bottle. It is a bit hard to open, I use a the shaft of a screw driver into the little depression.
The cap has is a dipstick and if there is any fluid on the end if it you are OK.
You must use the correct fluid it is not available at supercheap or repco. If you are around Brisbane area I may be able to spare some as it is not really cheap, $20 for a litre, and you only need a small amount.

Yer i checked it out today its not far under the minimum but still could definately use a top up.
Think ill just fork out the money and get a bottle that i can keep, just hope
there isnt a leak somewhere along the line haha.

just went for a cruise tonight and realised that im majorly losing power after about 5000 revs.. Just cuts out once i get that high..
have no clue what the problem could be and have no idea whats causing it but if anyone can help me with some knowledge on that itd be much appreciated
