Those brakes are hot, 10 pistons though haha maybe for a turbo r32, dunno what else.
How about 400mm x 36mm with 10 Piston calipers

Doubt they'd fit under my 17" wheels!
(Hell, I think 400mm rotors would requite 19" wheels at least wouldn't they?
Given the weight of the standard R32 brakes, these'd also weigh a tonne! But I guess if you've gotta stop regularly from high speeds...
Nothing to see here...
you would save alot of $$$ if you ordered them from the USA instead of germany
330mm are 1790Euro =2450$ or get them of Ebay usa 1539$ or Bulletproof Speed Hardware

Agree with JLT....much cheaper!....
Hmm, I can just imagine the conversation with the doctor regarding how ones retinas became detatched.... Honestly doctor, I swear I only just touched the pedal!

maybe a silly question, but if you're not racing your car (i.e. brakes are not overheating), and you need to brake in an emergency or are just testing how quick you can stop, will not the standard brakes (assuming they are reasonable), brake the car just as swiftly as a huge upgraded brake system (assuming balance with front and rear is correct for both)?
just been thinking about this recently cos i've been thinking of going to 18's and was wondering what the stock gti brakes are like. more weight at a larger radius will obviously take more effort to slow down... so just been thinking about it

You've hit the nail on the head there McDub. Unless you are having heating issues than there is not point in going for a big brake upgrade.
The purpose of bigger brakes is to dissipate heat better and therefore allow consistent repeatable braking performance with less fade.
The added weight from a big brake upgrade will actually increase braking distances in most cases, however over repeated stops your average braking distance will be less.
Cheers,
Trent
Edit: That said though, how cool is it to say you've got nearly 16" brakes with 10 pot callipers...
