best place to sell mk4 gti

Hi all, I am seriously comtemplating selling my beloved gti. Misses don't like the manual and i'm my foot is getting too old to handle the constant stop/start in sydney traffic.

The question is, besides the usual carsales and drive dot com sites, is there any enthusiast club/event/meetup/yards etc where I will be able to show my stock car (with 17" alloys) to those who appreciate a 2002 golf gti with only 75Kms?

    thanks for any input

    Hi,

You could try advertising on this forum. But personally, I think if you want to sell something your best bet is up on one of the dot com websites.

    Regards,

i'm curious about buying a GTI, if it suits my needs, so post here and I'll take a peek. also, it doesnt cost you anything to advertise.

carsales.com.au is a great website. you get 200 words to write, plus 5 good size photos, all for $25, and thats a one-off charge, and the advert stays live til you sell the car (and you can modify the advert no charge as many times as you like)

I am very happy with carsales.com.au. Sold 4 cars so far and bought about the same...

    Good luck.

No, Ive never considered a GT. My 1st desire is an S3, but will consider the right Mk4 GTI as well (or even an R32 if someone is willing to sell me a nice one for circa $25k!!!!!)

EDIT: further thought - I do currently own an FPV GT-P, perhaps youve seen me post that somewhere
