Beetle turbo :idea:

i had a beetle loan car for a week (although 1.6 auto and barely drove it

) and let me tell you every single thing about the car is horrible, the whole thing is a complete POS, not just the engine that i had. the second you get into one to test drive it you'll want to vomit

sorry guys no offense to the 1 or 2 beetle owners on here, i just dislike the car

A beetle is exactly the same as a Golf mk4 so it can't be too bad.. ??

Beetle turbo = Golf GTI

Beetle RSI (Didnt come to Aus) = Audi S3

After looking at car sales, the Bora sold me. Yep definately the Bora 4 motion, thanks for your honest opinions guys!

i had a ride in a 4motion v6 bora before i got my golf and i was very impressed... so close to buying it... you'll probably find that with a few mods it'll blow your head off with performance that you wont even worry about a sc

Your right they are fantastic cars, I just had a sit in one today and I loved it. The seats and interior was great, plus in black it looks outstanding. Wasn't the best condition example I must say but brilliant car nonetheless.

Its next on my list of vehicles to own

no offense taken... i admit they take a little getting used to driving.. specially the long dash that they have... but everyone has their own likes and dislikes and we wouldn't part with ours for anything.

no.. beetle turbo is polo gti motor.
only 110kw.. not 147kW

Forgive me if I am wrong but I believed the Beetle RSI was the R32 motor...

Bora V6 4motion is a winner. Pity you couldnt jump on the group buy for the haldex controllers but probably to late for you now anyway.

Bora 4motions are good cars, just dont think that you will be able to mod it on the cheap as they are very difficult to get more out of... unless you supercharge or turbo in which case its going to cost you an easy 10k. Better off buying an R32.
