Basic question on wheels for mk4

Hi All,

Just a Newbie Question, what is the stud pattern for MK4 GTI? is it 5x100 or 5x114.3? or both wrong?

Im planning to find a set of 17inch or 18inch deep dish rims and i just need advice on the best size and offset for the MK4 =]

p.s its lowered abit on springs when i got the car and i dont know how low it was dropped.

any help will be appreciated =]

5 x 100 bolt pattern

The offset of most standard wheels for Mk4s is around +38, it all depends on how low you are and what sort of widths and tyres you want to run

5x100 is the correct stud pattern, and 57.1 centrebore

Offset was probably wrong for a Mk4 if they were off a Forester.
