    audio setups

    Hey all,

Im looking into upgrading my audio system
im possibly getting off a friend a full rockford fosgate system 4 6" splits
4 channel amp and 12" sub with a clarion deck...

recently one of my friends ran a new deck and mono amp and 12" sub off the stockies and the sound is still pretty impressive

so yeah i was just wondering what setups do all you have in your dubs and what kind of sound quality are you getting?

    cheers spida

alot of people think the standard speakers in the MK4's are pretty decent for what they are - myself included...

i wouldnt bother changing them unless you are looking at spending upwards of $200-300... add a decent sub in and you have a pretty good bang for buck system

if you end up putting in the splits, dont forget sound deadening...

as for what i have in my car, ive got a JL sub, entry level audison amp and DLS 2 way reference splits... pretty decent sound, although im trying to convince myself into some new 2 or even 3 ways up front as i feel that the midbass is lacking at the moment...

plenty of other things that need attention first however...

    hope that helps
