'Aquired' a grille, but will it fit?

Hey all,

A friend of mine has given me a Mk4 Mesh grille that he had sitting around in his garage that was purchased in the US. (No longer owns a VW). I've got it and had a look at it, but am not sure if it will fit the Oz Mk4.

Below is a similar pic of the grille, does anyone know if this will fit a Mk4, (without 'massage' and hacking) or should I just give it back to him?

yeah it should fit any mk4 gold no probs..
