Post Anyone know the the rough specs on these wheel's

    Hey guys,

Will be purchasing some Rota Grid's next week and I'm a little strung up on wheel fitment/sizes, I've gone through previous post and have a general idea of what people have gone for. I know I have a 5x100 PCD though the look I'm going for is as seen below

Would these be a straight fit or would I need to flair/roll the guards?

    Current set up is below

Any help would be much appreciated.

Check the sticky post for more info.
While at stock height don't bother adventuring too far from stock sizes.
Biggest factory size is 18x7.5et38 on a r32. People like to run tt wheels (usually more at 7.5et30-32) to fatten it up a little.

Btw, try support legit companies if you are looking to buy new wheels.
Rota and similar are just ruining the industry.
I'd stick with the bbs personally

These were Rota 18x9 et20 all round (after 15mm spacers) with -1.5 degrees of camber and 225/40 tyres on the front and 215/40 tyres on the back, if that helps.
The ones in your pic look a similar size. If you do get 18x9 et35 you'll need atleast 5mm spacers to clear your coilovers and if you go lower you'll need to roll the guards too

thanks for the replies guys, Cheers for the info Dylan, yeh I'm going to order some KW V2's on Tuesday so the car will be lower.. Slaj car look nice man, my minds made on the grids though your's do look nice.. I was after something with dish though but the grids will suffice Do you get much attention from the police in regards to the wheels? As it is with my current set up the cop just drive straight past me so I'm sorta trying to keep it that way.

Oh I wasn't trying to tell you to get the same ones at all man lol, just thought I'd give you an idea of the sizes and offset.

Only ever got attention once when I drove straight into a defect station. I guess it depends how low/aggressive you go and how lucky you are. You gotta expect some sort of attention sooner or later if you're gonna mod it

    225/35/18's
    (20mm spacers rear)

Anyone able to help me out as I'm ordering these this week, on the ROTA site i see nothing along the lines of the of the spec's mentioned above.

Sorry new to all this so any help will be greatly appreciated.

So I've decided to go with 18x8.5 ET44 grids on the front and 18x9.5+38 grid R in the rear, hopefully it will give the car a more aggressive stance, the guys at Tunehouse said I'll prob have to add spacers and roll the guards.. Anyone ran similar wheel sizes?

Guards will definitely need to be rolled and front will definitely need spacers man if you're gonna run coilovers.
I'd personally go with 40 profile tyres instead of 35 with about 10-12mm spacers on the rear and 20mm on the front

Hey Slaj so your wheels have an offset of +35? Then the 15mm spaces on top to bring it to 20? Just double checking because want to be sure about fitment on my wheels. Would it be same fitment on my GTI? And did you roll your guards?
