Anyone got milltek headers and cat pipes for their R32?

Any one stock them in Aussie?

    What fits what doesnt?

i head the Milltek headers have crappy port match ie round ports as opposed to the factory square ports?

Not aware of anyone running the Milltek headers, Guy at APR did some development on headers for the R and still may have a set or two in stock, not sure if they ever went into full production but they weren't cheap. Again there will be plenty running the Milltek headers on the Vortex R32 forum so your bound to find an answer there.

yeah but they are all LHD

and super sprint headers are LHD only and apparently milltek headers are both but fit better on the LHD

Scrap the idea and just go a VF supercharger kit. I know that Graeme on here thinks it's rubbish but my new best friend over in WA has one and he seems to like it.

The VF kits arent rubbish... but are expensive hp man

Powerdubs on the Tex has 310hp out of a n/a R32 and beat a Stage 2 VF r32 down the Drag Strip..

The VF kits are find if you have a MKIII or something cos they arent worth all that much so buying the car and buying the kit leaves you with some spare chnge
buy a mkIV R and buy the kit you may as well remove your testicles.. as youll have not alot of spare change left

id be looking at Streetwerke or HPA turbo kits.. althou HPA really should be changing pistions not just whopping a head spacer in..

is that how they lower compression?! omg! does that twin turbo set up run on stock internals?!

respect = down. especially seeing as their kits cost about $15000

I thought the Milltek headers actually didn't work and reduced power (Edit: didn't realize this was a MK4 thread- talking about the first gen of Milltek MK5 headers but it's only what i've heard).

I've just had some of Guy's headers installed last week on my MK5. It makes a difference, mostly frees up the throttle, but still expensive gains (which was always to be expected compared to turbo car gains).

Not much you can do though beside forced induction if you want more. ABT sportline are meant to be selling some Supercharger kits in Australia soon. A supercharger setup would still benefit from good headers and exhaust system anyway.

I can post a before and after dyno if anyone is interested, they made approx 4-8kW at the wheels, but my retune seems like it could be better - not a smooth curve and power seems a bit down:

(Edit: Found out the dyno curve look odd as the series of waves could be wheel slip - probably nothing to worry about).
