anyone bought ecs clutch kit stage 1?

Hey guys bought the stage 1 clutch kit for my gti gearbox from ecs and wondered if you guys could tell me why a vortrex thread has told me to use a 10mm 12 point spline point to undo bolts for flywheel so i bought one only to find the bolts ecs have provided have provided are actually bigger than the 10mm piece i bought?

Any of you guys had any experience with this kit and could let me know what you guys used?

Is it for the original VW bolts?

Im thinking its for the bolts on my clutch atm and i need a bigger one for the new bolts. My bentley book states there is different size variations of bolts!
