Fundamentally, you just cant change some components and expect to change the general handling balance of the car.
Some people will tell you adding a thick rear anti roll bar will cure understeer - but it's a lot more complicated than that.
I'm my personal experience you can compromise the wet weather handling and safety of a car a lot by doing that.
In some ways it's worth mentioning that it's cheaper, and more effective, to adjust your driving style. I don't mean that facisously, but it's really true.
PranK, 5 years and x km might well be long enough to have worn or broken the rear lower wishbone bushings, but TT/R32 or poly bushings will fix that.
You can get a super proud kit that adds some castor angle to the front which is a really good way to improve the front grip level.
