    Aftermarket Wheels

I recently bought some aftermarket wheels of ebay. They are off an Audi A3, and are the same size as GTI 'Denver' wheels. I thought they would fit, but the stud pattern is different. Stupid me didn't think to check, just assumed.
I would seem to have 4 options.
    1. Get the hubs drilled and threaded to suit?
    2. Buy Audi hubs and fit them?
    3. Get the wheels drilled to suit?
    4. Scavenge the tyres, resell the rims and buy some genuine GTI 'Denvers'.
Here's my question, or rather, questions:
Is getting the hubs drilled feasible?
    Are the Audi hubs interchangeable?
I really don't think getting the rims drilled is an option.
    Any suggestions?

You could always look for some 5x100 - 5x112 adaptors.

depending on the current offset and if they will sit in the guards.

the denvers are all 5x112 arnt they... or am i thinking the wrong wheel??
also if i am thinking of the right wheel they wont have centre caps to cover the double drill/drill and fill. might look abit average...

Honestly, unless they are a dream wheel, it would be best to cut your losses, sell them and start again.

Got a pic of the wheel and what are you driving?

I found those 5x100 to 5x122 adapters at ECS Tuning, but they're $147.81 a pair! Mucho bucko! $295.62 for a full set. That's almost as much as the wheels cost me.
    Volkswagen Golf IV 2.0 > Wheels > Adapters > ES#1274 TRAK+ Wheel Adapter - 22mm Thickness - 44255571
    But then I found these:
    5x100 & 5x112 to 5x112 Mercedes Wheel 4 Rim Adapters: eBay Motors (item 160450176694 end time Jul-01-10 17:12:48 PDT)
Now, I know they're a bit different; for a start they have studs, and for seconds they're 31.75mm thick, as opposed to the ECS units 22mm, but would they work? Coz they're only $129.97USD for FOUR. Obviously I'll have to check the clearances, but a penny for your thoughts?

adapters are probably something you don't want to cheap out on. But maybe those would be ok, no idea really

if your keen on adapters and need smaller can i suggest adaptec, can go to 15mm. I did find another place that would do 10mm, but cost a fortune.

Will your wheels fit under the guards with 32mm added to them ? Also remember the legality of the spacers.
Personally I'd sell off the wheels and get something more suitable, it doesn't sound like you have a lot to loose on the price.
