About to order wheels-question about width

Hey fellas. I'm sick of my tt rims and I'm looking at ordering some reps that are 18x8.5 et35. I've used the offset calculator and it says it'll push it in about 16mm. I tried to measure the inside and it seems I may only have 10mm to the coilovers adjuster? (jom coilovers)
As the rim is bigger will it sit higher in regard to the adjuster on the inside? I don't wanna run any spacers. Will they fit?!?
    Cheers.

ull have to wind your adjuster up to clear the tyre. then once the new wheels are on, keep winding it down until u get rubbing, then wind it back up ~5mm
18x8.5et35 with a 225/40 will be bang on if ur lowered 30-40mm (which being on coilovers i guess u are)
my axis wheels were 19x8.5et35 with a 225/35 and they fitted fine. if your planning on going lower then 40mm consider et30.

i saw some pics of your ride with the pentas actually when i was doing some research. they were pretty cool on your bora. they should fit.. i spose if not some 5mm spacers wouldn't hurt..

    cheers dude

yeah they fitted mint up front for daily/legal wheels, could have done with spacers out back, but I always had the rear wound right up because id just been defected not long before getting them. and because it was so high they sit a little better.
Thanks! Dad always tells me i should have kept them and sold others but yeah.
sounds like a plan. just make sure u get 225/40s or less, dont go 235s or bigger if u plan on lowering more, u will rub on the inside of the guards on full lock/turning a bit over bumps

Yeh I'll end up staying with 225/40/18 for sure.
I was thinking about buying those Pentas off you but I think 19's would be a little harsh hehe.
Your bora looks mint with the Porsche dials as well.

nar 19s are ok, sure they are a little firm, but its more the suspension then the wheels. Should have got then, they sold for cheap in the end
    Thanks!
