    90 000 k sevice cost?

hey guys. going to get my MY00 golf 2 liter serviced very soon. sitting on about 88 500 atm so the best number i can put it at is 90 000 for reference.

Can someone give me a bit of a ball park for what this service will cost?

I thought 90k service was a standard service, please correct me if i'm wrong because I believe the timing belt is due at 60k intervals....

On the 1.8t 90,000 is a timing belt, but at 9years old it should have been done twice already :\

    Otherwise, expect $600~$1k

its only done 90k's so i wouldn't have thought it would need replacing twice already. i haven't checked the service logs so maybe i should do some reading.

    600-1000 for a standard service?

90,000km belt change plus service wont leave you much change from 1k on the 1.8t. Worth doing the water pump at the same time too.

edit: The cars require belts 90k or every 4 years, whichever occurs first.
