I know harding performance have a 10% discount on at the moment thanks to an average yankee dollar so you may be in luck
I have mailed Harding Performance. And will be emailing some of the American sites.
If there is not to much of a price variance with the American sellers probably best to go local.
We shall see, I have tried with the Haldex controller before and apparently there isn't much margin in them.
I prefer to go local but lets see what happens !
While on the whole 4WD subject, is there any way to convert a 4motion into a rear wheel drive by simply pulling a plug or a fuse or something similar?

yeh blue for me too. audvolks can install a three way controller that can change between stock, 60-40% and almost 100% rear at the flick of a switch in your cabin.
Dre, unless im wrong they are referring to the second generation Haldex controller which isn't compatible with the 4motion Bora's. I do believe it is compatible with the R32's. MIV and V.
I am interested depending upon final cost.
2001 Bora 4 Motion Sport now used by number two son
2011 Skoda Octavia Scout now with Underground Performance tune
2010 Jetta 125 tdi dsg for the misses - Impressed
2006 Polo GTI - Enhanced by some of Gav's magic - Absolutely loving it
Not sure, that's just what I had been told. So I guess it is possible. But I had asked for Gen 1 and 2 controllers.
So depending on who we go through they should be able to tell you if it will work or not.
