    4motion haldex modification ?

Has anyone tried the Haldex 4motion conversion ? What is it like ? I have heard it is one of the best mods for the v6 4motion in terms of handling as it locks the rear up straight away as opposed to waiting for the chirp.

Also, can anyone give me an idea on prices for exhausts and what is recommended ? I believe the V6's are twin's ?

    Thanks.

Yes I have upgraded the Haldex controller on my R. One of the best bang for buck mods out there in my opinion, speak to Guy at Harding Performance for all the details. As for exhaust I run the APR / B&B cat back exhaust and am quite happy with it though it is a bit exxy.

You are going to pay upwards of 1600 $. Having said that, I am trying to organise a good price from America. (Maybe a group buy, Who is interested ?)

There are two units. The blue sport unit will transfer torque to all four wheels much more quickly. The orange competition unit will do the same and it will also keep the rear axle fully engaged under braking.

The orange is quite dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. Causes a lot of oversteer.

Orange sounds like having a 2way LSD on the rear - Gets the ass out under braking - Used by drifters alot. (2way lsd that is, not haldex mod )

The orange one sounds like a barrel of fun. Not sure how practical it would be for street driving though!

It would be so cool if you could switch between the two ! I was also thinking maybe we should try doing a group buy through harding performance. See what we can come up with.

i might be interested in a Blue controller if the price is right. I wanted to get this done since i got the car, it feels too much like a FWD.
