    Hi Nathan,

I got mine from ECS tuning in the states VW here wanted $600 per front rotor for the R32 where as ECS uses OEM rotors they slot and or cross drill and I got all four for $1000 AUD landed.

Yeah had a look at ECS. Doesnt seem to dear! Got quoted 610 for a front rotor and caliper upgrade. From 288mm to 312. Does this seem reasonable and would it make much difference with stopping power? Also do you need to do the back when you upgrade the front? Any adjustments to ABS? Questions, questions, questions!

From how I understand it, the American market got the 288mm we have the 312mm on the Bora V6 (Same as TT or S3).

Also Slotted/Cross-drilled doesnt offer any real advantage other than looks from what I have read. The standard brakes are good, you need to upgrade the Brake fluid/lines/pads. (For Fade)

For Extra Power, you need to buy a better setup, that has lower mass/better venting (Dual Rotors I think) and slightly more rotor area. Brembo offers a kit for about 1500 $.

    Regards.

Does anyone know if and or how changing the brakes this way effects ASP,ESP and EBD?

I would have though some sort of recalabration might be necessary?

Brembo's now you got me thinking...

Unless ur gonna do track work theres no need for slotted and cross drilled. Slotted will do fine, have u tried dba or rda?

Also, ECS Tuning in the US were good to deal with and they have some nice brake packages.

I'd say you'd be mad to do business with that mob after reading all those reports.
