4motion Bora Wheel Spacers
Hi all
Just wondering what people have run in the past in terms of wheel spacers on their cars.
I've got a set of O.Z Superturismos on the car at the moment and want to push the rear out around 10mm. Can anyone recommend a good spacer they have used and if you need longer lug nuts to suit ..
Thanks in advance

10mm in the rear is no good for the 4mo. Either go less or more as it's not thick enough to be wheel centric. Non-wheel centric will only leave 1-2mm of hub for the wheels to centre and is a PITA.
Go with a trusted brand like H&R or Adaptec, etc. I heard of some problems with FK spacers/adapters.

And yes you'll definitely need longer bolts (stock length + spacer thickness).

Hi - I have these bought from this place - I thoroughly recommend them.
The 40mm means overall Track, so 20mm each side.

Great Quality, made in Germany. Painted the same colour as your hubs, you have genuine hub extensions...

Oh, and you use the included bolts to bolt it to your bub, and then your standard bolts for the wheel - brilliant!

As kapowww said...
Also need to check the design of the back of the whee, some do, and some don't have a chamfer around the centrebore, also the size of the chamfer can play a part

Be aware that the use of spacers on public roads is illegal in every state and territory in Australia.
Nothing to see here...

Thanks for the replies everyone
I've checked the hub and it appears these will fit and also come with extended wheels nuts to suit and solve my centric issue

They look OK. I would much prefer the design of the H & R ones as they don't require the longer bolts and when you take wheels off there are no spacers that fall off and when the bolt on ones are painted with the same colour as the hub, they disappear...
but each to his own
