If you get your manual and then locate the build spec sticker in the service manual, you can check you original options here.

is your cd changer built into the head unit or do you have a stacker in the boot? i believe this is another give away. I would assume there is more of a chance that your v6 had a spoiler option added rather than the grille and wheels changed but hey you never know. I have recently purchased a 2002 bora as well and mine also has a spoiler but no other sport options.

I saw one yesterday. It was black with nice 17" rims and had the cool grill on the front. Even if they aren't any quicker - astheticly they look the part. The grill IMO really adds to the apearance of it.

    Welcome to VWwA MzBora

The Bora SPORT as I understand it was a Limited Edition VW Aust. HQ/Dealer fitted bodykit.

The Bora SPORT came 1st in only V6 4Motion guise then was optioned with the V5.

    SPORT Package comprised of
    -Evolo 17x7" Alloys.
-Michelin 225/45 R17 Pilot Sport tyres.
-Oettinger grille, side/rear/front skirts, lower front mesh inserts and boot Spoiler
    -SPORT badging

Late in the Bora's Model life tha package (minus Evolo alloys) became an optional extra on any model Bora.

    Hiya,

    I believe the Evolo alloys are 17x7.5" and 5 x 100 PCD

I have a 2001 4 motion sport. Mine has the front oetinger grill, mesh inserts in the grill and fake brake ducts, rear spoiler but no side skirts.

My understanding is that the package was purely cosmetic ie the suspension is exactly the same. Other mods were sport logo sewn into the front leather seats and matching floor mats with sport logo. And I nearly forgot the SPORT badge under the BORA badge on the boot that makes the car at least 10k's an hour faster.

As regards the CD stacker I believe the early models such as mine had the stacker in the boot and then the later models had the in dash unit.
2001 Bora 4 Motion Sport now used by number two son
2011 Skoda Octavia Scout now with Underground Performance tune
2010 Jetta 125 tdi dsg for the misses - Impressed
2006 Polo GTI - Enhanced by some of Gav's magic - Absolutely loving it
