3" Downpipe pushing against heat shield

I should have taken a photo, but ever since I replaced my engine mounts with ECS ones, my car has been a bit of a rattler, it's pretty loud.

It may be just the combo of poly engine mounts and poly subframe mounts, but when I was changing the oil over the weekend I noticed my downpipe is pushing up against the heatshield just above the crossmember.

Do you guys rekon this would transmit alot of vibration to the cabin? It's pushing against it quite hard but It doesn't seem to be pushing the shield against the body.

As far as I know there's no adjust ability in engine mounts, or in the exhaust really, anything I can do here?
It's an 034 3" with hi flow cat.

Isn't the heat shield attached the body itself? I'm thinking it's the one that wraps up the firewall and through to the tunnel?

Is it rubbing on the sides? or top?

Dumb question but when you were changing the oil was the only the front of the car up? Forcing the engine (and downpipe) to lean backwards?

It's rubbing on the top, yeah attached to the body, top of the tunnel, not sure if it wraps up to the firewall but it might.

ya know! that actually might be a smart question, I didn't think it would lean that much, but it might be enough, I installed the DP on stands but that was before the new mounts. I'll try and figure a way under the thing to check it out without jacking it up, all 4 corners on stands always seems super sketchy.

The LH/RH mounts have some adjustment but not much and it's side-to-side adjustment anyways. If possible you could adjust the dogbone mount or it may need replacing as it's responsible for the forward/back motion of the engine but again best to check when the car's level if the DP has enough clearance.

If the DP is catching on the headshield that could definitely cause the rattle and vibration in the cabin.

Only other thing I can think of besides chopping up / bending the heatshield would a longer exhaust hanger allowing the DP to drop a bit. Or if the hangar is on a bracket, could try taking the bracket off and packing it with washers allowing a bit more clearance.
