Sam from INA Engineering made over 900whp with a 3.2 24v turbo. If you have any questions i'd be more than happy to pass them along, mate.
Have had a quick look at them yes, out of the box super/turbo charging and also engine conversions. The site is very light on details but they may be good to contact for sourcing parts. A while back I was looking at SPturbo as a possible source for a prebuilt engine but then I read some very bad things about them on vortex and pretty much deleted that bookmark.
Might be worth dropping the guys at storm a line and see what they say.

Yeah I know the 2.8 is capable of some serious numbers and working with that will always be the fall back plan... but I have sent an email off to storm to see if they can help source parts. Hopefully they come back and say "sure we have a motor you can buy" and dont offer me one of their shiney R36FSI donks... dont know if the budget will stretch quite that far.

You need to make a decision in what you want and how much power you want and how much your willing to spend and then possibly leaveroom for extra if needed in the future. Pick a kw figure and then plan how to make it happen, I know of 3.2 conversions in bora's they go
good but not super fast, Putting in a 3.6 fsi would be nice option but costly, My suggestion is just turbo the existing 2.8 24v i'm sure you
could push 220kw with the right homework.
