    2004 1.6 petrol golf

    Having a look at one for sale for my sister. Other than checking power windows, dsg for any shifting problems and seeing if the timing belt has been done. Is there any other common expensive gremilins I should be checking for?

    DSG gearbox sounds like it might be a Mk5 not a Mk4 ...

    Took it for a drive its just standard auto. All good couple of small marks nothing major. One window button not working other than that car is spot on.
