I like the intake, it's well made and the mounting points are spot on. It seats nicely and clears the battery quite well. If you do purchase one I'd opt to get it ceramic coated locally before install. Due to being aluminium? it does cop it's fair share of heat soak. Having said that, once on the move it wouldn't be all bad, more stuck in traffic etc. I don't have a scan tool to live log air temps to see the difference.Quote:

What caused the rear brake pad to fly out the back of the car? At least in this instance, no one was hurt because of this.

The Caliper carrier bolts came off the car, no idea how as I torqued them up myself! When we hit the bump in the road, I suspect that it caused the caliper to jump out of position and the inside pad then flew out the back. The outside pad twisted and locked the caliper between the wheel and rotor causing the caliper to drag its 455 on the inside of the rim until we pulled over..Quote:
