Hello all,

I have a 2003 V5 Bora and love it to bits, but one part of the car I am far from impressed with is the poor excuse of an air intake it comes fitted with. I just want to know what is the best way, in your opinions, of rectifying this? I'ev looked up a couple of solutions and these ones stick out most prominently:

1) K&N Typhoon pod filter kit? Heard good things about the noise and performance, but i've also heard it's very expensive. Plus the concerns over the engine breathing in hot air.

2) Aftermarket panel filter and modifying the existing air box to breathe in cold air from outside?

I'm leaning towards the latter and if anyone has done it or knows the best way to go about it, any help would be most appreciated (especially where to duct the airbox to for the best airflow). Thank you

Regards,
