all this should be in your owners manual. maybe get the coolant and the brake fluid flushed
Hey Guys,
My 4-mo's coming up to it's 120k km service and am wondering what else above a standard service I should look at/replace.
I figure i'm going to be keeping the car for a few more years, and don't mind spending a little bit on preventative maintenance so "**** dont hit the fan".
I'm thinking haldex oil change, transmission fluid change, spark plugs (and coil packs?) changed, fuel filter change (where is it exactly?).
Just wondering what else you guys might suggest?
Cheers!

I realise what's in the owners manual, i'm just wondering if there's anything else worth replacing for longevity of the car.
I guess regular things that are prone to failure in a 10yr old car, and worth changing before they break.
Coolant and brake fluid are part of the standard service I believe.
ok, has the coolant temp sensor ever been changed? If not get it changed. Its coloured green if its the new one

I'd maybe buy a spare coilpack or two, but I wouldnt replace anything until you noticed one failing, just keep one in the boot. Perhaps if you have the A Revision ones then replace them with the N Revision, but I wouldnt expect any difference.
Sparkplugs should be inspected as part of the service I think, so if they need replacement that should happen anyway.
Front Wishbone Bushes are notorious for wearing out - replace them with the harder Audi TT bushes if they are split. A front-end refresh kit from ECS (stage 2) will include the TT bushes, as well as a bunch of other front end parts prone to wear.....You will most likely notice a difference in doing this.

Thanks Gravey.
Have a stage 2 ECS refresh kit here, will be getting that put it at some stage too (along with coilovers and front/rear sway bars).
