    1.6SR tuning and parts

Hi all I've got my 1.6 MK4 back on the road after the engine swap but just want to get it tuned so everything is nice and tight.
Can anyone recommend somewhere local(ish) that won't cost an arm and a leg? I'm located on the Central Coast between Sydney and Newcastle.
Also I've got my old engine(head should be good), intake manifold, stock air filter, engine mount, exhaust manifold heat shield, thermostat and bits and pieces sitting around that I'd like to get rid of, or even swap them for some bits and pieces to tidy her up.

Need to get some interior parts to neaten it up a little eg drivers side grab handle and master switch panel, interior light plastic surround, rear ashtray, the little A/C button and that's all I can think of for now ha if anyone can help me out send us a pm or reply. Thanks heaps guys.

Tried posting the parts in the parts for sale section but it won't let me for some reason.

In the next couple of months I was hoping to get some coilovers and new wheels, any advice/opinions on what I could or should do to her?

Might not have the full 3 months under your belt for posting in parts yet.
These cars don't get tuned as such to run right, what's wrong with it?

Just checked your join date, you should be able to post in the for sale section in 3-4 days

    Oh haha thanks Dylan
My steering and suspension is a bit loose but I think my tie rods and bits and pieces are due for replacements considering the car has 240k on the clock.
It's a little bit sluggish and I think the timing may be out a touch, brakes will need replacing all round soon and I'll probably replace the starter too as it whines when it disengages.
Pretty much just want to make sure everything's running fine and nothing rattles around

You could get a full suspension refresh kit from ecs. Tie roads, bushes etc. if you have done a engine swap those would be a walk in the part to replace.
Starts are known for that, can refurb also with various results.
As for timing did you notice anything like guides damaged on the new engine?

I'll definitely have a look at ECS this arvo for some ideas.
Read up on people with noisey starters also but most people seem to have left it and put up with it but it doesn't sound healthy and want to try get it all 100% so not sure if I'll try refurbish it.
Not quite sure what you mean though by guides damaged on the new engine?
    Thanks
