02' Bora V5 - Climate control question

Hi all,
i am currently looking at purchasing an 02 model Bora V5.
For some reason it does not have climate control, instead it has the manual AC knobs. It is one of the few i have come across that has been optioned from factory with a sunroof- however it is just about the only one with the manual aircon control knobs.
Does anyone know if this was supposed to be a standard feature with this model Bora ? or was it a factory option ?
It is the only downside which would stop me from purchasing.

Should i be worried ?

you should check compliance plate,and then see if that model came out with that spec aircon controls
