Thinking of installing a TT adjustable cam pulley and dropping my max torque down a little, anyone done this and was it worth it?

Do you mean, earlier in the rev range or reducing the amount of torque?
If you mess with the cam pulley, it also changes the intake cam timing. So to have any chance you need adjustable pulleys for the chain ends of the cams.
I had an exhaust cam running as an inlet cam in my 1.8 16V Corrado, a worthwhile mod.

Thanks Gavin, just want to see the max TQ in a bit lower than stock, bit of a 16v newbie so just after the heads up on mods before laying down $$$$$$$
