I gave the guy a call, it has import approval under the now defunct 15 year old rule. Meaning it can be registered in any state like the ad says, after its converted to RHD. But it would be an expensive exercise, the car would need to be about half the price it is currently. And it's only a 2.8L not the 2.9 like in the Euro spec Raddos.

There are pics up on drive.com.au now and that rear spoiler is ugly as.

I think unless someone desperate or stupid buys it, will be up for sale for a long time....

$14,990 isn't too bad i don't think! If i had the money I'd certainly sacrifice my VR6 to do a RHD conversion on it

Id think realistically its only worth 10k unconverted.
also how did it get import approval under the 15 yr rule? VR6 corrados werent 15 years old when the rule was changed. Doesnt add up.

yeah that part of the equation does seem a little hazy.... i think if you did the work yourself and had a wrecked vr6 *nudge* it wouldn't be so bad.

i dont know it mk3 components wuold be compatible. I dont think they are.

As i said at 10k itd be worth investigating. But 15k is top dollar for a conversion that could potentially cost thousands of dollars just in parts.

I'm 99% sure that the mk3 dash bolts straight up, same goes with the front subframe.

the way to do it would be for a WA resident to buy it and register it as they dont have to convert to rhd do they? Would save going to all that trouble and then finding out u cant get it registered.
