So I presume your DSG is the 7 speed.

If that is right, I believe this is the Wet Clutch and not a DSG gearbox that has had a lot of reported problems.

I would keep it.

Yes it's the 7 speed, apparently it has a clutch with a spring of some kind that is prone to problems.
