Thumbs down Wiring for dash tweeters in T5

Hi all, My 2004 build petrol T5 had tweeters in the dash on either side but my new 2009 build petrol T5 has only got the the empty spaces and no wires.
I kept the tweeters and want to fit them in the new van .Does anyone know how to run the wires or can you recommend a good installer.
    Thanks for your help .

Take the feed off the main drivers, run it through a crossover to filter out the low frequencies and Rob's your fathers brother....

Should be able to get a crossover from Strathfield, Ryda or Jaycar.

Thanks for your help. Not having much knowledge on electrics I was hoping to just wire them to main feeders .....but it wouldn't work eh ? I need the crossover.
I live in Frankston so a bit far to Adelaide.
    Many thanks

wire them to the head unit, the tweeters have caps already mounted on the back of the mount.
I have installed a mid & tweeter in that same location with a custom grill

what would you suggest to replace the original tweeters & speakers with? that would fit in the original spots, and improve the sound without adding an amp, i think the kenwood has much better output than the orig radio so just wonding what would be the go .

Any of the main stream products. Everyone has their own favourites. I had Eclipse 6 inch splits placed in the door and tweeters in the dash, but would have preferred the Alpine units (?SD) that I initially wanted. The dealership in Canberra did me no real favours.
I have a Kenwood DDX 8039 head unit, and I find that I need the volume up around 2/3 when driving. I have sound proofed the van with Dynamat Extreme, and underfelt, as well as fitted very quiet Yokohama ADVAN ST tyres.
My van needs more bass (I'm not s Doomph Doomph boy, but like to be able to hear all parts of the music).
    I have 6 x 9 2 ways in the rear.
I find that I would like an amp, and moderate sub (and mids) fitted in the future.
There's a lot of space to fill inside the van re sound staging.

    Best wishes.

    Ken.
