    Where to get 'stuff' ??

Hi all, im new here in Oz having recently come over from Wales. Ive owned around 8-10 transporters from T4's onwards for work and camper/family use. Ive just bought a 2012 LWB bus and looking around for parts to pimp it up a little. Any recommedations on where to get things like rear spoiler, sportline wheels, ply lining kits etc?

Im desperate to get some rear seats too. I've got the three up front seats to take myself, wife and son but my mother has decided to come & visit us in January and i cant put her on the roof at her age!! (im after a roof rack too).
Looking everywhere but havent been able to source any, not so many here in Oz i see, plus the time of year now Xmas may be quiet. Id be happy with a row of two or three with belts to suit T5/6. Im in the Gold Coast. 0450119407

    Hi Tuck

Nice LWB will look very nice with spoiler and sportline wheels eventually.

For the Rear seats, you could potentially try two companies we supply to in Brisbane:

Southern Spirit Campervans - Geebung - call Pia -
Auto Extras - Herston (opp the main hospital on Butterfield St) - Call Ian Kearley (he engineers a lot of T5 / T6 vehicles for various special purposes and is frequently installing seats as well). They have a large workshop and may have capacity to meet your mother's arrival in January Custom Vehicle Modifications, Fit-outs and Conversions - Auto Extras

We supply T5/T6 modular camping equipment (ie, lift-in/lift-out) - so won't be able to help you on this occaision but happy to help with other T5/T6 related accessories in the future.

    Regards
    Mark

Try David a Safe T Ride on the Gold Coast Safe-T-Ride | Vehicle Conversions & Safety Modifications Not sure of their opening times at this time of year . But they are local to the Goldy at Ashmore . or http://www.vanquip.com.au/ In Brisbane or All Van Mod's at Slacks Creek lastly Vehicles, Van & Mobility Conversions - Brisbane All of these people are recommended as I have dealt with them myself over the years

Hi Sunny43.5 - we had someone just his week on the Gold Coast ask about fitting a window to their standard T6 Transporter - would any of those you have listed have the skill to do this?

    Thanks

Ive had windows with mesh installed by All Van Mods, they were ok, they also attempted to fit my Fiamma awning, but instead of using a straight edge on the van... they used a spirt level

it was 30mm out and wouldn't fix it, i went elsewhere to get it refitted, which cost me more to get removed and refitted.

I can't say i would recommend them, as there attitude was quite poor when i queried the awning issue on pick up and the installer went berko

I used Auto Extras for my Swivel seats as they can issue a blue mod plate, i'd use Ians company again,

I got Wanderlust Campers to order in a RIB seat/camper bed from France and Phil installed and had a blue mod plate fitted.

Im sure Auto Extras have spare seats, as i was in there a few weeks ago, and they have quite a few up on the mezzanine floor.

Although, getting it done by jan at late notice may be hard.
